The cardiac stimulation unit takes care of patients implanted with a pacemaker or cardiac defibrillator. Our hybrid operating room, built in 2020, is furnished and supplied with state-of-the-art equipment and meets optimal sterility conditions. We are the pioneer center in Switzerland for leadless pacemaker implantation and conduction system stimulation. We also have expertise in cardiac resynchronization therapy, subcutaneous defibrillator implantation, lead extractions, and telemedicine monitoring. Prof Burri is an internationally recognized expert in the field of cardiac stimulation, and is a member of the executive board of the European Heart Rhythm Association of the European Society of Cardiology.
